Employees may select between a traditional 401(k) in which contributions are taken out of payroll checks pre-tax or a Roth 401(k) in which contributions are taken out after tax. Our 401(k) investment advisers are available to answer questions regarding which type of 401(k) contribution is best for you. New employees are automatically enrolled on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of service.
Once the employee has met the eligibility requirement, he/she may begin making contributions (salary deferrals) to the 401(k) plan. As a participant in the 401(k) Plan, the Company will match 100% of the employee’s salary deferral contributions up to 6%.Life insurance provides financial security for the people who depend on you. Your beneficiaries will receive a lumpsum payment in the event of your death while employed by NorthPoint. The company provides Basic Life Insurance for you in the amount of 2 times your salary up to a maximum of $200,000.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance provides payment to you or your beneficiaries if you lose a limb or die in an accident. NorthPoint provides AD&D equal to the amount of your employee Life Insurance.- New Year’s Day
